PreyHe watched her with hungry eyes. She flitted past him as if he didn't exist. It drove him nuts, he wanted to grab her arm, spin her around and make her look him in the eye. She knew all too well what he wanted, which was why she refused to give it to him. Her subtle smirk gave away her cold heart. He would find no satisfaction with her. But he still watched her. He analyzed the way her hair fell out of her pony tail as she worked. He watched her smile like an angel. When she laughed she melted his heart. She looked so carefree, so innocent. Bittersweet GoodbyeShe hugged him as if she were drowning and he her only life support. Her fingers clung to his clothes and dug into his skin like this was her last moment with him. And it was.Bittersweet Goodbye
He pulled her to himself and pressed his cheek to hers for the last time. The longer they held each other the tighter their holds became, each knowing it would have to end, but holding on for just one more minute.
They stood that way for an immeasurable amount of time until he finally let her go. His scent lingered on her body as she walked away, feeling a small part of her heart fracture, but not break.
